The location was good, with a nice sea view. The room was comfortable, although a little bit dated looking in places. The room was clean. The Japanese breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful in arranging the 'takuhaibin' luggage delivery service from this hotel to another location.

Great location, in the heart of Onomichi! Short walking distance to convenience stores, ramen restaurants and the famous Onomichi walking/shopping mall. The staff were very kind and helpful, providing maps and places to rent bikes for the Shimanami Kaido. The room was cosy, had Japanese TV and the beds were clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the humidifier/air purifier. Great place to stay for people wanting to go cycling or try the famous Onomichi Ramen!

I don't understand the bad reviews about the hotel, we were family of 5, had a big Japanese room, which was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also clean, the station is 15min on foot along the sea. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a little old but they clearly renovated part of the furniture recently. Staff was nice and polite, and it was clean. Location is unbeatable.

The hotel lobby, lift lobby, and room are clean, looks renovated. Definitely not as negative as those older reviews said. Toilet and shower are clean too. Room is at a good size. Good value for money.

The location was great. While the room was small, it was good for an overnight stay and was nice and clean.
